Product leader with 11+ years in product management and 16+ years in technology, including more than 3 years at C-level in early-stage companies. My work has consistently been about finding the constraint that limits a product or business — search and recommendation quality, monetization, international expansion, retention, execution speed, or AI product quality — and building the system that removes it.
My work has moved closer to implementation: prototyping, building early versions myself, working directly with LLM APIs, retrieval and evaluations.
That is a deliberate preference, not a step back. The interesting part of product work is proximity to the product, the users and the execution — and the tools now make it possible for one person to test a hypothesis properly before a team commits to it.
I am looking for senior product work where that closeness is an advantage rather than something to delegate away.
